Scott Nethero

Scott has dedicated his entire 26-year career to preparing organizations to remain resilient against crisis. He’s helped companies in the private, public and nonprofit sectors in the areas of Security and Emergency/Crisis Management.

Scott’s specialties include Severe Weather Planning, Special Event Planning, Emergency Operation Center Design and Management, Crisis Communication, Emergency Preparedness Training and Exercises, and Incident Command Operations.

Scott has assisted in the planning and execution of events such as 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, runDisney, Invictus Games, Shanghai Disney Opening Ceremonies, Walt Disney World New Years Eve Celebrations, Walt Disney World Fourth of July Celebrations, and the Taste of Colorado Event.

Scott holds a BS in Criminology from Florida State University, as well as multiple certifications from FEMA. Scott serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Masters program in Emergency Management at Florida International University in Miami. When he’s not keeping events and organizations safe, Scott is either bass fishing or coaching youth baseball.
